The trilateral forum was cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic but finally took place in Tallinn on November 29th and 30th 2021. The event was held in the historical building of Ungern-Sternberg palace which in the present day is the main building of the Estonian Academy of Sciences.
Many important topics considering the late advances in the studies of the Gulf of Finland environment (e.g. on hydrological processes, biodiversity, contamination) were highlighted. Among them in the frames of the HAZLESS project one oral and eight poster presentations were delivered mainly on the topic of environmental assessment of the basin.
